In this short paper, you have an opportunity to consider which model of federalism best explains the policy that you selected for your final project.
Include the following:
- A brief overview of the different models of federalism: the coordinate authority model, the inclusive authority model, and overlapping authority model
- A rationale for the federalism model manifested in the policy that you selected for your final project (or any other policy)
- Your sense of which decision-making model (rational or ad-hoc incremental) seems to fit with how decisions are made with regard to this policy
