Our food, drinking water, clean air, and all of the products we consume and use each day primarily come from resources supplied by nature. All of our natural resources have value but the values we place on these resources differ in both how we quantify and qualify these resources.

Discuss the various direct and indirect environmental values (as seen in Chapter 1 of Environmental Policies) associated with the Oceans
Describe one policy tension between the Oceans and a threat to the Oceans
Evaluate the different worldviews (e.g., biocentricism, anthropocentrism) that influence the policy tension you just described and explain which worldview is most apparent in the policy tensions and why.
