For comparison Level, in the middle of their relationship, Margaret does not reciprocate when Andrew shows his love to her and both agrees to continue lying to his family since he loves her. The last concept is comparison level alternative. An example of it is found when Margaret feels powerful being the boss in the office and treat Andrew as a result their relationship is in bad terms. In the movie, the director use examples to illustrate a vision about how having a bad communication can lead to rewards and cost in a relationship.
