Tullahoma Air Haulers (TAH) contacted with EM to take 5 tons of cargo in its plane’s main hold. Plane capacities are as follows: max capacities of 20 tons for the main hold, 10 tons for the cabin hold, and a total of 28 tons for both holds. To maintain balance, the cabin hold cannot be more than 1 ton more than 2/3 of the main hold. The main hold cannot be lighter than 5 tons. The company charges $1,000 per ton transported in the main hold and $3,000 per ton transported in the cabin hold. TAH wants to maximize this haul, so what is your recommendation?
